This Omega 3‑6‑9 formula has been developed to offer a balanced blend of essential and non‑essential fatty acids, combined with 5µg of vitamin D to support the normal function of the immune system. It provides meaningful levels of omegas 3, 6 and 9 in one convenient capsule, making it a useful choice for those looking to support overall wellbeing.
The formulation places particular emphasis on omega‑3 fatty acids sourced from oily fish, rather than plant‑based ALA, ensuring higher bioavailability. Each capsule delivers 379mg of essential omega‑3s, including 196mg of EPA and 127mg of DHA—levels significantly higher than many standard 3‑6‑9 products. EPA and DHA support the normal function of the heart, while DHA also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
For omega‑6, the product uses pure grade starflower (borage) oil, supplying 66mg of Gamma‑Linolenic Acid (GLA) and 125mg of linoleic acid per capsule. These fatty acids play an important role in maintaining normal skin and hormonal balance.
The omega‑9 content is provided through natural olive oil, delivering 200mg of oleic acid per capsule. Although omega‑9 is not classed as essential, including it alongside omegas 3 and 6 helps create a well‑rounded fatty acid profile.
