Lamberts® provides vitamin C in the gentle form of calcium ascorbate, a non‑acidic alternative that is often better tolerated by those with sensitive digestion. Standard vitamin C can occasionally cause mild gastric discomfort due to its acidity, making this version a suitable choice for individuals who struggle with regular ascorbic acid or who prefer to take larger daily amounts.
This formula allows an intake of up to 2g of vitamin C per day (four tablets). When using higher levels, it is generally advised that the tablets are taken at intervals throughout the day. Each tablet also supplies over 70mg of calcium, offering a meaningful contribution to daily calcium intake — particularly for anyone taking multiple tablets as part of their routine.
