Vitamin C, or Ascorbic Acid, was the subject of the first controlled nutritional experiment in recorded history. In addition to being an antioxidant, Vitamin C facilitates the body in recycling other antioxidants such as Vitamin E.

Directions
1/4 teaspoon = 1g of Vitamin C Powders
- 1/8 tsp = 500mg
- 1/4 tsp = 1000mg (1g)
- 1/2 tsp = 2000mg (2g)
Recommended doses:
- Adults: 1 to 2 grams daily
- Children aged 10+ years • 500mg
Small intakes several times daily (freshly made up) are more beneficial than a large single daily dose.
Vitamin C may be taken in relatively high doses for short periods of time, however this should be under the direction and guidance of your clinician.
