Multi‑Guard® Pregnancy is a two‑a‑day multi‑nutrient formula developed by the Lamberts® Technical Department for women who are hoping to conceive, already pregnant or breastfeeding.
Official UK dietary data shows that many young women may not be meeting the NRV for several key vitamins and minerals. Most notably, around nine in ten women consume less than the NRV for iron — a concern highlighted by research showing an inverse relationship between iron intake and infertility.
Shortfalls are also common across several B vitamins, which are essential during this life stage. While the Department of Health focuses primarily on folic acid, these findings suggest that broader nutritional support may be beneficial.
Multi‑Guard® Pregnancy provides the recommended 400µg of folic acid in its methylated, body‑ready form, alongside optimal levels of 21 additional vitamins and minerals. The formula also includes 130mg of choline, which contributes to normal liver function in the foetus and exclusively breastfed infants.
