Lamberts® L‑Lysine 1000mg provides USP‑grade lysine — the same quality used in clinical nutrition products. This is important because some low‑cost lysine supplements may use animal‑feed‑grade material, which is not suitable for premium human nutrition.
Lysine is an essential amino acid, meaning the body cannot produce it and must obtain it through diet. It plays a role in several biological processes, particularly in the formation of collagen, the body’s most abundant protein.
Adults typically require 2–3g of lysine daily, and it is found most abundantly in animal‑based foods such as meat. Since vegetables and plant proteins contain relatively low levels of lysine, some experts suggest that vegetarian and vegan diets may provide insufficient amounts of this important amino acid.

Directions
- Take 1-2 Tablets Daily with a meal or as directed by your clinician.
- It is preferable to take amino acids with fruit juice or water rather than milk.
- An Amino Acid is best taken 1/2 hour before any meal or at bedtime.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake.
