Glutathione is known as a tripeptide, made from three amino acids — glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine. Because the body can produce glutathione from these building blocks, it is classed as a non‑essential nutrient. However, cysteine is relatively scarce in many foods, making it the rate‑limiting amino acid in the body’s own glutathione production. Lamberts® Glutathione Complex provides meaningful levels of all three amino acids, alongside complete glutathione itself.
Glutathione is present in every cell of the body, with particularly high concentrations in the liver. It forms part of glutathione peroxidase, one of the body’s most powerful antioxidant enzymes, helping to protect cells from oxidative stress.

Directions
- 1 to 3 capsules daily.
- It is preferable to take amino acids with fruit juice or water rather than milk.
- An amino acid is best taken ½ hour before any meal or at bedtime.
