Practice Policies

Appointments | Re-Scheduling & Cancellations
All patients are asked to arrive in good time for their appointments.  We have a cosy reception where you may wait comfortably prior to your appointments.

We understand that life changes and doesn't always run to plan, so there may be times when you need to re-schedule or cancel an appointment.  Should you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please endeavour to give us at least 24 hours notice; your consideration is much appreciated by me and other patients needing appointments.  Missed appointments will incur a full charge for the time booked.

Online Booking is available 24/7/365 via our website.
Confidentiality and Privacy Policy
Your personal data and medical information are held securely and in strict confidence.  Nina Torina® and her associated companies are registered with and adhere to the Data Protection Act and do not share any of your personal information, apart from with each other, but never with any other third party.  The only time we may need to share your personal information, would be in a clinically relevant situation, to contact another medical/healthcare professional; and this would only be with your expressed written consent.  We may periodically send you clinic information, news, updates and/or special promotions and/or events via e-mail or post.  See our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy for further details.
Medical Insurance Companies
Most Medical Insurance Companies cover Osteopathic treatment and laboratory diagnostic testing.  Some require a GP referral, other health insurance schemes, such as Simply Health do not.  Please contact your relevant insurance company for further information about the benefits of your individual policy.  We provide receipts after every treatment, which contain all the relevant information, that any insurance company would require to reimburse you.
Our Payment Policy
We ask all patients to pay for their treatment at the time of their appointment.  We accept most credit/debit cards and cash payments.  We no longer accept cheques.
Off-Work Certificates
We can provide off-work certificates for your employer.  They are available to all patients, with NO CHARGE applicable, so you do not have to see your GP unnecessarily.

We are easily accessed from Huddersfield Town Centre, and the surrounding areas of Rastrick, Brighouse, Elland, Halifax, Mirfield and Wakefield, as well as, Junctions 23, 24 and 25 of the M62.  We are located 3 minutes from Huddersfield Golf Club and 5 minutes from the ASDA Supermarket on Bradford Road.


FREE ON-SITE PARKING

When attending for your consultations, we ask all patients to park on one of our available driveways. As a courtesy to our neighbours, please would ALL patients to avoid causing obstruction to their driveway access; we have good relationships with our neighbours and therefore ask for your kind consideration in this matter.
